Beschreibung
In order to test entire ADAS systems on automotive testbeds the environment sensors of the vehicle have to be stimulated in a way that they "see" the intended traffic scenario. An important requirement for this task is to introduce as little as possible changes to the tested vehicle for conducting the ADAS system test.To meet these requirements for the stimulation of automotive radar sensors, we have developed a hardware platform which is capable of operating with as little prior knowledge of the sensor as possible. The real-time processing required for accomplishing this task resulted in a hybrid analogue and digital system concept, which has been introduced at the last EuMW. Additionally, we used an antenna array to stimulate azimuthal target movement over the air (OTA).
Implementing this hardware platform on an automotive testbed, demands for several additional requirements. Among others vibrations, the movement of the vehicle at the testbed, and the impact of the reflections by the near walls have to be considered.
In this presentation we want to investigate the impact the reflection of the stimulator antenna has on the radar sensor.
