Multi story timber buildings in urban areas

The general goal of the webinar is to introduce to architects, structural engineers and constructors but also to representatives of regulatory services the way how to properly design wooden structures, new high-tech wood-based materials and new connectors, various production and assembly technologies and how to achieve greater sustainability and durability of wooden structures. Regarding the current situation for the necessary for renovation and reconstruction of both, private and public buildings, in the Banovina and the wider Zagreb area, the focus will be on anti-seismic proven construction with wood, a possible high degree of prefabrication of wooden elements and the use of very light machinery for the transport and assemble on site.
