Abstract

For technology firms’ competitiveness it is crucial to integrate progressive product design methods and cost-sensitive information in their innovation process. This paper aims at presenting a (i) review on the state-of-the-art in literature and (ii) looks ahead on future research projects based on results of two best practice case studies.
