abstract = "This paper explains the proper way of measuring a prismatic li-ion battery cell which is used in electric vehicles. The challenges and the solution of connecting a battery cell to a vector network analyzer are discussed. It is shown how to properly measure, calculate and de-embed the parasitic components of the medium connector. At the end a prismatic cell is measured in a wide frequency range from 1MHz to 1GHz.",
