Description
Participants will be able to:-understand and complete simple forms (e.g. a “Meldezettel”) and give some basic information about themselves (date of birth, work, hobbies, etc.)
-enquire about services offered and documents needed by public authorities
-talk about the past using the “Perfekt”
-ask for information in a department store and conduct simple shopping-for-clothes dialogues
-make basic travel enquiries and buy tickets at the train station
-talk about the weather and the seasons; understand simple weather forecasts
-talk about travelling and understand simple holiday adverts
-have conversations about issues of everyday life with neighbours, friends, colleagues and strangers
-write a simple formal letter
The course will be based on a communicative approach to language learning. It will include simple communicative activities and cover the necessary grammar and vocabulary for the above-mentioned situations.
