Description
Though the challenges to doing so are many, an increasing number of qualitative researchers are creating tools and practices that support the uptake of Open Science practices within qualitative research. This workshop focuses on them with the goal of raising awareness and spreading their use. It will be conducted as a mutual learning experience, beginning with a brief discussion among participants of the challenges they have faced in conducting open qualitative research, before segueing into a mutual learning session about the innovative tools and practices that they and the facilitator are aware of/have used (e.g., pre-registration protocols designed for qualitative research, qualitative data management and analysis to facilitate sharing, and tools and platforms for sharing open qualitative data). The outcome of this workshop will be a co-created list of tools and practices that participants will be able to carry forward into their research or their work in supporting/managing research activities.Period | 14 Jun 2023 |
