Information Technology Services (ZID) is the central IT service provider for TU Graz. Its task is to provide the target groups at the University with a robust and efficient IT infrastructure and to sup-port them with appropriate IT tools for their work, in particular. Communication, cooperation and interaction in studying, teaching and research at TU Graz and beyond is to be optimally supported by ZID with the relevant IT services.
Its priorities include:<ul><li><b>IT infrastructure</b> such as the TU Graz network, lecture hall and media infrastructure, server rooms, colocation and server hosting;</li><li><b>basic IT services</b> such as email, calendars and contacts, file services and workstation computers;</li><li><b>services for research</b> such as High Performance Computing, scientific software and project man-agement tools;</li><li><b>e-learning services</b>, conception and implementation in teaching;</li><li><b>administrative services</b> such as TUGRAZonline, SAP and Business Intelligence, and</li><li><b>information services</b> such as the Internet presence and intranet (TU4U) of TU Graz.</li></ul>In addition, ZID develops TU Graz CAMPUSonline: a campus management system used at more than 30 universities in Austria and Germany.
