ACoRTA-3 - Advanced Co-Simulation Methods for Real-Time Applications 3

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The aim of this research project is, on the one hand, to reduce the complexity of the configuration process and thus enable the inexperienced user to commission a successful co-simulation for real-time and non-real-time applications. After the development of promising methods (ACoRTA-1 project and ACoRTA-2 project) for handling the problem between real-time and non-real-time world, the complex parameterization of these methods must now be carried out automatically as far as possible. For this purpose, meta information from the user as well as developed analysis methods and tools are used. The previously required expert knowledge is integrated into the configuration process as a fuzzy linguistic ruleset. Another goal of this research project is a concept to make computationally intensive simulation models real-time capable by separating them into two or more submodels. Specific models will be used to show that the separation of subsystems can deliver a performance gain for the entire co-simulation construct and thus also avoidably connect non-real-time capable simulation models to real-time systems.
