AGETOR - Analysis of movement of persons in streams Real-time based on data from mobile and social media to ensure the safety at major events in urban and non-urban space

The project AGETOR aims to develop a low-cost monitoring system to increase security at major events. Respecting the right to data protection, we develop a tool which combines and analyzes mobile communications data as well as social media data. The tool can be employed throughout Austria and at short notice. Public utility providers such as police or security forces are provided with real-time analysis results by means of a mobile application.
