Project Details
Description
The research project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through resource-efficient design in concrete construction. Pragmatic calculation approaches will be examined and replaced by mechanically consistent and resource-efficient methods in order to achieve a more efficient member design. To optimize established engineering models and practices, the project will consider 3D models, soil-structure interaction, and an improved semi-probabilistic safety approach.
