Project: Research area

Project Details

Description

The aim of this research activity is the developement of methods of asymptotic analysis to be used in problems coming from analytic number theory: 1. Estimation of multidimensional exponential sums, especially refinements of the method of Van der Corput and applications to higherdimensional lattice point problems. 2. Methods to investigate integral means of number theoretic functions. 3. Applications of the Rankin-Selberg method to non-holomorphic automorphic forms and order estimation of the related L-series.
