Description
In the wastewater of hospitals AOX concentrations are often greater than predefined permissible thresholds.
The target of this study was the quantification and specification of different AOX fractions in the waste water stream of a hospital. The study was part of the EU LIFE99-Project ENV/D/000455 "Substance-flow related water/waste water management in European hospitals- Strategies for water saving options and for reducing the pollutant load in waste water".
