The aim of the research project is the scientific development support of an integrated ash fluidization and removal in pellet boilers under the combustion grate and heat exchanger area. These are basic studies both on the mechanical-physical flowability behavior of various ashes including their accompanying materials (slag) on test benches and in computer simulations, as well as a construction-methodical approach based on the existing boundary conditions (installation space, temperature, interfaces, available energy) necessary for suitable solution principles.
