Automobile Information System (AIS)

In connection with the treatment of geoinformation systems (GIS) geodetic aspects of an AIS as a special GIS should be taken into account. Starting with a suitable modelling of a digital road map special methods of graph theory are used, to solve optimization problems for vehicle routing, travelling salesman tours and site planning, where aspects of navigation and route guidance are taken into consideration. Our software can already be used together with a very detailed graph of the road map for the city of Graz
