Bioassays and Biosensors Based on Biological Adressable Oxygen- and pH-Sensitive Microspheres

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Microspheres which are sensitive towards oxygen partial pressure and pH will be used as a matrix for a new type of ultrasensitive biosensors and bioassays. Local differences in oxygenation level or pH caused enzymatic labels will be detected with partikel optodes. The research topic includes the design and development of biological adressable micro- and nanoparticles and the realisation of prototype assays and biosensors.
