Project Details

Description

Due to the efficiency advantage of biomass gasification cogeneration plants in lower to medium power ranges compared to CHP technologies based on combustion technologies, this technology is predestined to be realised in decentralized regions. This porject works on a new innovative and process orientated concept to improve the process management and to come to a gasification technology, where each step of gasification is operated with parameters which are in the optimum for each step. Therefore it will be possible to reduce tar concentration in producer gas drastically – and this is the main goal of the project, because tar in producergas can cause plugging and operation errors as well as health risky emissions in all possible states of aggregation.
