The increased efforts to save energy are also changing the conditions for the building envelope. This "building climate change" has significant influence on the hygrothermal, but also the pressure conditions to which the building envelope is exposed. In order to avoid damage and problems, it is necessary to explore the phenomena arising from it and to find answers for the constructions of the future in building construction, but also for existing bbuilding envelops. One of the resulting problems is the formation of condensation in the construction, for example. of windows and facades, such as. in composite window constructions. At the laboratory, solutions will be shown through analyzes on the facade test bench, in the climate chamber and with the help of simulations.
