The aim of the project is to develop a wheelchair that can climb fully automatically and independently over edges, steps and stairs. The experimental vehicle GS2 has proved that these requirements can be met in principle. In the continuation of the project, the construction of a new walking chair is to be seen, which basically meets the above requirements and is additionally characterized by: low weight (greater than 100 kg), fully automatic operation (11 microcomputers) and high climbing speed (1 step per second)
