Description
CSISmartScan3D will explore 3D crime scene documentation using cost-effective 3D sensor technology on tablets and smartphones. Intra and inter-modal sensor fusion will address robustness, while visual feedback throughout the acquisition process will simultaneously
ensure easy usability and a high quality model. Routine use of the system combined with the permanent preservation of the spatial configuration of crime scenes shall ultimately increase
legal certainty.
