Description
Under the aspects lightweight and functional reasons hollow shafts should be used in gear units in the near future. Its very important for these parts that the inaccessible, oil-filled interior has a scale- and burr-free surface. To reach this goal a processing method should be found or developed which could produce the required surface finish.
