Development of Fermentation Processes for Biogenic Wastes

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Biogenic wastes from households are usually treated in composting processes to use the product as a soil additive in agriculture. The therefore used content of the biocontainer contains too much water to use it directly in the process. In this project the separation of the liquid and solid fraction of the biowaste shoud be optimized and the parameters for fermentation of the liquid fraction are investigated.
