In the course of several workshops with works councils in different sectors, the changes due to digitisation in the company's business environment were discussed. everyday life of the employees. In the course of the survey it became clear that there is a need on the part of works councils to support employees in developing digital skills. in order to secure their employability for the future. Based on the 25 competences developed in the course of the Austrian Competence Model, it is planned to develop an 8-week online course, a so-called MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), which in the course of the project will cover at least Employees with a time commitment of 8h/month, 2h/week can complete part-time work and thus further develop their digital skills. The MOOC is designed as a blended learning offer: A total of three half-day face-to-face events (at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the MOOC) are held to complement the online offer. In addition, active participation will also require a certain amount of self-learning activities. After completion of the MOOC, the participants receive a certificate confirming the acquisition of "Basic Digital Skills".
