Description
Exact positioning and dosage of the wire feed are two critical aspects for a stable and reliable additive manufacturing process via electron beam (EBAM). The following sources of interference were identified so far and shall be further examined:
Exceeding of maximum current, vibration of the wire, uneven curvature of the wire and irregilar wire feed rate.
