Project Details

Description

The project DuraPEM deals with the development of new processes for the synthesis and stabilization of combined platinum-transition-metal catalysts for the cathode reaction of high temperature polymer electrolyte fuel cells. The aim of the project is to decrease the overall platinum loading of the membrane-electrode-assembly down to 0,15 mg/cm and to achieve a significant cost saving effect without compromising performance.
