Description
Investigation of the use of commercially available extruded AC medium voltage cable systems (cables, joints, terminations) for MVDC applications. The maximum permissible nominal DC voltage and the possible increase of the transmission capacity will be identified experimentally by corresponding short and long-term investigations.
