ErgoS - Energy recovery by using sorption process technologies in biomass boilers

This project aims on the technical an economical evaluation of an open sorption process. The process allows the recovery of a main part of condensation heat at temperatures higher than the condensation point. Within the project a test facility will be constructed and the energy efficiency and dust deposition rates will be measured. Furthermore a technoeconomic study will be done. Based on these results future fields of research and application areas will be identified.
