European Food Intolerance Databanks

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

For individuals sensitive to certain foods or food additives, it is necessary to provide information about foods that can be consumed without the worry of reading the ingredients label every time to check for possible problem-causing components. The main output of the databank are booklets detailing retail food products that are free from certain food ingredients or additives. These effectively serve as a shopping guide to suggest which products are suitable for the patient when choosing processed food products.
