ExoFitStyria - Exoskeletons to prevent physical overload of workers in Styrian industry

The project ExoFitStyria deals with how employees in Styrian industry can be kept longer and healthier in employment through innovative technologies. In particular, the technology of exoskeletons could make a significant contribution here if employees are familiar with it and use it regularly and purposefully. In this regard, a demand survey of Styrian SMEs in the production sector (ÖNACE B-F) will be conducted and different exoskeletons will be tested in a laboratory[1]and several field studies. A training concept for the implementation of the right technologies for the right use cases will be developed and prototypically tested with AK-Steiermark members.
