FLEX-HEP - Developing new concepts for ramp-up and ramp-down management

The research project FlexHEP focuses on developing new concepts for ramp-up and ramp-down management in manufacturing of powder metallurgically produced high-performance products. Therefore, a holistic approach to combine product development and the integration in production processes is necessary. The concept will be developed for the Austrian top companies PLANSEE SE and CERATIZIT Austria, where first try-outs will be made as well. The newly developed management model should contribute directly to a noticeable increase of flexibility/agility in the production of the involved companies.
