Description
For force-calculation in end windings of thee-phase AC-machines a Fortran-program with a Windows-GUI was developed. This program computes the forces on bars or coils of arbitrary geometry and arbitrary current flowing through them. The necessary determination of the magnetic field was carried out by the use of Biot-Savarts method.
Finally, a FEM-analysis brought some insights in the mechanical deformations to expect. not assigned KP: Partner aus der Industrie
