Description

The objective of the project is to develop a concept that analyzes the opportunities and risks of Open Source Software OSS (free software) in small and medium businesses (SMB). Beyond that, the development of an Open Source Application-Server is a goal of the project. The procedure contains an actual state analysis based on a case study which includes processes and IT of SMBs for the evaluation of operational requirements to IT- Systems. The project looks at IT in styrian SMBs offering decision makers support in IT infrastructure decision.
