FTG-P28 Muegen Driving: Gender and age specific driving behaviour in critical situations and differend road conditions

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The research project systematically investigates gender-, age- and situation specific differences in longitudinal vehicle control of human drivers. This is achieved by real driving studies and investigations in a driving simulator. The attained results form the basis for future gender age and situation based intervention strategies of Automatic Cruise control and Automatic Emergency Braking Systems for improvement of traffic safety.
