HF17-306_Simplified process for acoustic damage analysis

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Thermal renovation work on existing buildings is becoming increasingly important in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency in building technology. This measure, which is highly effective in terms of the thermal energy balance, often has a negative impact on the properties of the system in terms of sound and leads to increased noise pollution for the residents. The complex measurement procedures for determining the building damage currently often deliver unsatisfactory results. Together with the research partner, the innovative idea of a simplified measurement procedure is being developed with the aim of enabling the origin of the building damage to be determined with significantly reduced effort.
