Description
The national IEA Annex 42 project aims at elaborating and analyzing the technical possibilities and the economic/regulatory framework conditions for heat pumps controlled largely by electricity providers and used for load balancing in smart grids in Austria. Furthermore the effects on thermal consumers and possible potentials are elaborated to
work out economic incentive models for demand shift and their benefits for energy utility companies and final customers.
