Description

Magnet wire machines produce coatings on metal wires by application of a lacquer through specially designed nozzles. The quality of the coating depends strongly on the drying process subsequent to the coating. The drying is brought about by heat and mass transfer between the coated wire and the hot drying air produced by the machine. The cooperation focuses on innovative machine concepts through optimization of flow characteristics and heat transfer.
