Investigations of the Thermodynamic Potential of Diesel Engines by Variation of Valve Timing

This research activity is concerned with thermodynamic effects of variable valve timing for the diesel engine, as they are state of the art in SI engines today, and in addition with valve train systems, which are now in development but will provide positive impulses for the engine development in the future.
