Investigations on Solid and Liquid Insulating Materials

Rotating electrical machines use a number of different and combined materials for insulation and mechanic purposes. The surrounding conditions like temperature and humidity in the generator itself combined with the high voltage stress have an essential influence of the dielectric behaviour of the high voltage insulation systems. The aim of this work is to investigate the influence of partial discharges under the mentioned conditions. Therefore a equivalent slot model with a half-coil has been made.
