Description
In the proposed work mass transfer coefficients will be analyzed as a function of media
composition and media rheology. The focus of this project will be the exact prediction of
mass transfer coefficients from bubbles in Non -Newtonian fermentation media at
varying System properties (salt concentration, protein concentration, etc.). Part of the
project includes the experimental investigation of the dependence of the fluid rheology and
diffusivities an the media composition.
