Kernverlustmodell - 3D numerical simulation of different step-lap geometries

The periodic 3D model developed in the previous joint research project, which precisely maps the geometry of step-lap layering in the L- and T-joint area, is now used to investigate different geometries, such as acute angles at the T-joint, with respect to magnetic flux conduction. This allows to investigate to what extent the current core structures can be further optimized with respect to magnetic flux conduction and thus with respect to losses.
