KosMos - Conceptual model for a simulation-based evaluation of modular production systems

The project addresses one focus and serves as a basis for methodical planning and simulation-based evaluation of modular production layouts. The primary objective is to identify and document the different requirements for modular production from the point of view of the stakeholders involved, and to achieve a uniform understanding of the complexity to be mastered. In addition, suitable methods should be investigated in order to derive feasible modularization strategies from existing data and information.
