Description
The proposed project investigates the different gender- and age-related requirements for
solid-state lighting technologies and derives conclusions for future product development with
regard to tunable product properties. The assessment of possible gender- and age-related
differences of the effect of various illumination situations on humans will support a trend in
general lighting to foster not only provision of light but also psychophysiological functions.
