LT25 - Agricultural Technology Products

An international technology provider of machines and systems for the mechanical and biological treatment of solid waste and for the treatment of woody biomass as a renewable energy source. The company has locations in Austria, Slovenia and Germany. Due to the high capacity utilisation and the increasing demand for environmental technology products, an operating site increasingly represents a bottleneck. On the basis of the strategic objectives for agricultural engineering 2025, a greenfield layout planning is to be carried out for the agricultural engineering components manufactured to date in this plant. Tasks: • Analysis of the current situation with regard to process flows, quantity planning and production technologies used. • Simulation-supported greenfield layout planning • Qualitative estimation of the change in production costs after the planned restructuring and identification of potential uses of the original production hall.
