Project Details
Description
Development of a miniaturized loudspeaker taking advantage of MEMS technology.
a. Identification of new and verification of existing USPs
b. Development of a μSpeaker concept (MEMS + ASIC + package) which is competitive to
electrodynamic speakers in closed ear-canal applications (TWS) and balanced armatures
(hearing aids) in:
- MEMS chip size
- Power consumption
- SPL application volume (transducer + backvolume + amplifier), in particular for the bass
frequencies below 50 Hz.
