MIXVAL - Mixer Simulation und Validation

Mixing manifolds are essential components of air conditioning systems of passenger aircraft. The mixture and distribution of the humid air flows generate a complex multi-phase flow with changes in the state of aggregation. Until today, these processes cannot be simulated in a reliable way. The goal of the project is the development and validation of a predictive simulation method suitable for use in product development processes.
