Project Details
Description
In the development of transformers and electrical machines, simulations of electrical and magnetic quantities are often carried out using equivalent circuits. For this purpose, a simulation framework is required that calculates the desired values (currents, voltages, mag. fluxes) based on a known circuit consisting of electrical components, sources, components with magnetic coupling and fluxtubes. The framework already developed is to be extended to take other physical effects (e.g. remanence, flux distribution for L- and T-joints) into account. A FEM model will be created to validate the extended circuit model and to fit the network parameters.
