PAYCO2 - Greenhouse gas balance and energy flow analysis

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The company aims to achieve CO2-neutral production within the production network in the long term. Currently, no data is available regarding greenhouse gas emissions or energy efficiency potentials of individual consumers. The aim of this project is to form the basis for targeted CO2 reduction in production on the basis of the strategic goals. Initially, a CO2 balance for the site located in St. Bartholomä is drawn up, considering all direct and selected indirect emission drivers (an analysis of the entire supply chain is excluded from the analysis). Based on this, the energy flow analysis is carried out and the energy flows are visualized. Subsequently, measures for CO2 reduction at the site are developed and evaluated economically and ecologically in order to be able to prioritize the measures.
