Description
The research project "PermAfrost" aims to study the effects of climate change on permafrost and the consequences of the melting of permafrost. The influence of a change in temperature on Alpine permafrost and thus on melting processes, discharge characteristics, water quality and possible natural hazards are investigated in several test areas and partially quantified.
