Description
The proposed project POScity aims at the development of new algorithms for the positioning
component of a pedestrian navigation system for visually impaired or blind people. The
consortium plans to investigate new approaches based on the GNSS single point positioning
technique PPP and a Particle filter including a navigable map. The navigable maps used in
this project will contain special information relevant to visually impaired pedestrians.
