Description
A numerical analysis and a subsequent bench test of a tooth mesh and the tooth root stresses will be performed. The numerical analysis is used to investigate the global and local stresses. The result of the numerical analysis are incorporated into the design of the test rig. The test rig examines is used to experimentally investigate the durability of the meshing gears.
