Project Details
Description
The main goal of this research area is to develop process control computers which are scalable to the actual need of the industrial process under consideration. This is reflected in the computer architectures dealt with. Process interfaces are formed by common process control units, whereas the necessary computing power is supplied by a set of digital signal processors with various communication architectures adapted to the requirements of the process under control. The second research target is user-interfacing of industrial processes, which is very important in making the use of control computers easier.
